| The Wallace C. Moseley School of Health Sciences |
We are a multi-discipline University with a
Medical Doctor Training Program and we do not
claim to be North-American based.
The only portion of the Medical Doctor Program
that is Distance Learning based is the BASIC SCIENCES
PHASE. But there are portions of the Basic Sciences
phase that are “traditional education based.”
The Clinical Science phase, prior approval of
the University may be conducted in your country
of origin in a recognized hospital setting. No
student is allowed to conduct medical procedures
without the supervision of a licensed attending
physician instructor.
A Basic Admissions test is required by new
applicants. Transfer students may request a waiver
of this test. The University reserves to right
to grant or deny the waiver.
We welcome people of all nationalities. We
do not discriminate against any nationality, age,
race, creed, religion or otherwise. The founder
of this University is a Costa Rican National.
Costa Rica is a neutral country (Switzerland of
the Americas) and we do not discriminate against
applicants; but we do demand certain minimum qualifications
for admissions.
We welcome D.O. applicants to apply (Doctors
of Osteopathic Medicine). Doctors of Osteopathic
Medicine from a U.S. or Canadian School are welcome
to apply for transfer credit into the Medical
Doctor Program, as well as students of Osteopathic
Medicine. A detailed course outline is a must.
The University shall work closely with the student
to make as many options available as possible.
We welcome Nurses of all walks of life (RN,
LPN, NP, etc.) to apply and certain basic science
courses may qualify for partial transfer credit.
A detailed course outline is a must.
We welcome Doctors of Chiropractic Medicine
that have graduated from a U.S. or Canadian school
to apply (students are welcome to apply as well)
for admission into our medical doctor program.
A detailed course outline is a must. Credits may
be obtained in the basic sciences phase.
